The Cerezo River: the soul of Villanueva del Rosario
The Cerezo River is much more than just a watercourse. For centuries, it has been the source of life for Villanueva del Rosario, feeding traditional orchards, providing fresh water to its inhabitants and creating a unique ecosystem where numerous plant and animal species coexist.
Its crystal-clear waters meander through natural bends, creating small pools and waterfalls that invite you to relax. The riverside vegetation creates a particularly cool microclimate, making this walk a perfect experience for the hot days of the Andalusian summer.
