At Way2Culture, we firmly believe that culture is a universal right, not a privilege. We strive daily to transform the way people experience and enjoy our cultural heritage, with special attention to those with different abilities. Innovative initiatives are turning this dream into a reality accessible to all. A prime example is “En Bici Sin Edad”, a project that is revolutionizing the way seniors and those with reduced mobility experience the outdoors. This program, which has five electric tricycles in Vitoria-Gasteiz, allows some 250 elderly people to enjoy guided rides every year.

The initiative has also reached Malaga, where the “Yayacletas” offer rides on adapted bicycles, providing new opportunities for the community to enjoy the outdoors.
In addition, emerging technologies, such as the “Blind Explorer” app, are opening new doors to autonomy for the visually impaired. This app helps people orient themselves in natural environments using pre-established routes, indicating through sounds and descriptions the characteristics of the terrain and nearby points of interest.
Virtual Reality (VR) has taken accessibility a step further, allowing travelers, including those with physical limitations, to virtually explore historical monuments and entire cities. This technology not only improves accessibility, but also offers a new dimension to tourism, allowing visitors to evaluate the accessibility of destinations prior to their physical visit. At Way2Culture, we integrate these innovations and many more into our experiences, with the goal of ensuring that Andalusia's rich culture is accessible to all. Our mission is to make every cultural experience inclusive and authentic, without barriers.

We continue to move forward to ensure that every cultural trip is accessible, because we are convinced that culture should know no limits. We all deserve the opportunity to enjoy the cultural riches of Andalusia, and at Way2Culture we work tirelessly to make this ideal an everyday reality.
