Immerse yourself in the culinary heart of the Sierra Malagueña and relive the ancestral tradition of rural Andalusian cuisine. We invite you to an intimate and captivating experience: a participatory show cooking event where you will not only learn, but also be part of the magic.

Discover the secret of seasonal products and let yourself be enveloped by the flavours of our land. Get ready to awaken your senses, enrich your palate and take home not only recipes, but also the memory of a special day.

The Perfect Start

The experience begins with a brief tour of the estate, exploring the olive grove or the chicken coop. Participants taste extra virgin olive oil produced on the estate itself, accompanied by artisan bread rolls and olives or cheese from the Sierra de Málaga.

A glass of local wine or soft drink is served as a welcome while the philosophy of seasonal cuisine and the deeper meaning of this culinary experience are introduced.

Showcooking: Hands-on Cooking


The heart of the experience is the participatory preparation of a traditional dish, selected according to the season and the group’s preferences. The host explains the history of the dish, their personal connection to it, and its link to the rural environment.

About the chef


Álvaro has lived and cooked in various countries and combines this experience with his deep love for Andalusian cuisine and local culture. He stands out for his ability to convey the authentic value and family stories behind each recipe, and for his friendly and personal approach to every Showcooking experience.


Participating in his activity means discovering the flavours of rural cuisine in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, enjoying local products and learning directly from a passionate advocate of the culinary culture of the village and the human connection around the table.

Included

  • Each participant receives a small bag with a special gastronomic souvenir that includes a bottle of extra virgin olive oil from the estate and a printed recipe for the dish prepared during the experience. More than just a gift, it is an invitation to recreate these flavours at home and keep alive the connection with traditional Andalusian cuisine.

Itinerary

  1. Welcome and Local Appetiser Presentation of the surroundings and philosophy with a tour of the estate.
  2. Explanatory Show Cooking Participatory preparation of a traditional seasonal dish
  3. Tasting of the Full Menu Enjoy the full menu in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  4. After-dinner Conversation and Souvenir Conversation about gastronomy and culture with a gastronomic gift.

Full menu

  • Seasonal starter: Malaga salad, pumpkin soup, consommé, aubergine omelette or menemen (multicultural Turkish dish)
  • Main Course: The dish prepared during the Show Cooking, served hot and with all the love of traditional cuisine
  • Homemade Dessert: Rice pudding, tocino de cielo (a type of custard), soft goat's cheese with quince or local bienmesabe (a type of sweet)
All accompanied by local wine or soft drinks, coffee or herbal tea, and local liqueurs such as anise from Rute or mistela from Arriate.
